Once every two years, one of the largest groups of artists in Douglas County come together to display the work they have been creating. This exhibit is known to have on display everything from stained glass shining through the windows to clay sculptures and wood-turned vessels, along with breathtaking paintings and plenty of surprises between. The exhibit will be on display from May 9 to June 23, with an opening reception on May 26, from 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Rotary Club of Douglas County.
Douglasville Police Department is having a Town Hall Meeting at the Police Department Community Building located at 2083 Fairburn Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135. The Douglasville Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and Douglas County School System Police Department will be presenting information on what an Active Shooter/Killer is and how individuals can train and prepare to respond during an Active Shooter/Killer incident.
